Fartlek: A Swedish term that means"speed play".
Fartlek training is periods of fast cardio training intermixed with periods of slower training. For some people, this could be a mix of jogging and sprinting, but for beginners it could be walking with jogging sections added in when possible. Although Fartlek usually refers to an outdoor running workout, there is no reason why it can't be applied to any cardio workout such as indoor or outdoor cycling, rowing and treadmill running.
To try out some "Fartlek" with this playlist, increase your speed or effort during each chorus in the music, and back off a bit when the chorus is over. This fun listening exercise will make your workout go by in a flash.
